I bought a bag of blood oranges last winter, and I was like OMG it BLEEEEEEDS!! So this image came to mind, and I had to paint it. It resides in my Mum's kitchen, and I hope to make a series of "bloody fruit" paintings. It's because I'm freaky, heheheh (evil chuckle).
